Communication & Stakeholder Liaison

The Media Manager serves as a link between the media and the whole University community. The responsibility of this office is to inform and educate the public by facilitating communication about research, education and other activities. News releases are prepared, enquiries from reporters are responded to, expert sources among staff are identified and assistance with interviews and media appearances are provided.

The media office serves the university, its schools, its departments and other divisions by obtaining public recognition of the achievements of the University, its staff and students. The office also serves journalists by introducing them to expert resources and interesting story ideas.
