Communication & Stakeholder Liaison

The Public Relations Assistant is a third year Public Relations Management student completing in-service training in the Department.

Duties include:

  • booking of entrance banners, pull-ups and feather banners;
  • organising and assisting with on-campus events;
  • creating and sending out the University News and Sport Digest - a weekly news-service;
  • taking photos for publications;
  • assisting with PR campaigns, campus tours, school visits, Open Day, WWE, roadshows, etc.
  • writing articles for talk@nmu and Way2Go (newspaper for Gr.11 & Gr.12);
  • gathering articles and adverts of the University and other tertiary institutions.
